Take a Tour
The Garden Center We have set up our garden center to be customer friendly but still very interesting for the whole family. Incorporated throughout our nursery you will find mixed displays of plants and garden decor. These displays change weekly and are there to demonstrate how plant material can work well together along with statuary, bird baths, arbors, and just about anything else you can think of.
Here in the garden center our main focus is quality. We personally inspect 99% of the plant material before it enters our grounds. We do this for quality control and to prevent the spread of insects and disease, it also helps us know what we have in stock and where it is.
We have organized our grounds into several levels or areas of plant material.
The top section is located at the front of the store. It contains a mix of perennials and shrubs and is divided in half for plants tolerant of the shade or sun, the shade plants would be located under our pergola.
The lower section we like to call the "island" is located in back and down from the top. Here you will find a variety of evergreen and deciduous shrubs. Also located in this area are some of our container trees such as ornamental cherries, crab apples, birches, and many other specimens.
The "field" section is located across the Farmington Valley Greenway (Rails to Trails) at the far back of our grounds. In this area are our fruit trees along with large B&B (Bagged & Burlap) trees. Here you will also notice other crops such as pumpkins, gourds, and corn used for the stalks and our corn maze.
